Like in paradise – heavenly sleeping comfort in TIMEHOUSE

In order to guarantee the best sleeping comfort, we only use the best beds, the most comfortable pillows and the most cuddliest covers. A long and healthy night’s sleep is especially important to start a well rested day full of adventure and impressions in Munich.

For the perfect feel-good ambience, we focus on sustainability, cosiness and attention to detail, also in the selection of our beds.

Our mattresses

When we selected our mattresses, we relied entirely on our experience, and after a year of trial sleep, we selected the best mattress: Swissfeel. The mattresses from Swissfeel offer the highest sleeping comfort and the perfect lying quality. The company focuses on innovative techniques in the field of hygiene and comfort, even with frequently changing requirements. The mattress adapts perfectly to all conditions due to its Swiss material foam.

Our Down duvets & pillows

The cosy pillows from Mühldorfer, filled with the best down feathers directly from the Bavarian Forest, offer the most comfortable sleep you have ever experienced in a place to stay overnight. You can choose from two cushions that will let you float into the land of dreams. Our long term Munich guests are also welcome to choose from our pillow menu. Mühldorfer stands for high hygiene standards and premium quality in the production of down pillows and blankets.

Our Bed linen & Towels

Here, too, we have paid particular attention to sustainability and high quality. The duvet covers and towels, which were specially produced for the TIMEHOUSE according to our requirements, are particularly fluffy. These are then washed regionally and gently at the Fleischmann laundry very close to our hotel.

Our beds

The beds are made of solid real wood and are manufactured by Vitamin Design. As the topic of sustainability must not be neglected here either, we made sure that the beds were selected from a raw material with a continuous production source. Vitamin Design stands for ecologically demanding and nature-friendly design and fits fantastically into our design concept. The beds invite you to a cosy round of sleep.

The TIMEHOUSE Team introduces itself

Once Eugen Roth wrote: “He who lives in Munich is already half spared by the seriousness of life,” and that is exactly the motto of TIMEHOUSE, which they would like to pass on to their guests. The TIMEHOUSE creates an environment that offers this feeling of home, in innovative overnight accommodations.

1. What distinguishes the TIMEHOUSE from conventional hotels and what makes the TIMEHOUSE so special?

We create an innovation in the field of temporary living and combine the strengths and characters of the hotel industry, boarding house and private home. With our high-quality materials and a lot of attention to detail, we create a feel-good atmosphere just like in your own home.

2. The TIMEHOUSE wants to give the guests the feeling of a “second home”. How do you want to create this feeling?

Our guests are not only here to stay overnight with us, we give you personal tips that you can only get from locals – so that a sense of belonging arises and you can experience and feel Munich. In addition, there is a cosy and homely interior that conveys the feeling of “at home”.

3. Sustainability and cooperation with local partners is very important for TIMEHOUSE. Why do you attach so much importance to it?

Think global, eat and buy local! We live this motto not only privately, but also commercially! We only recommend partners and products behind which we personally stand to 100%. It is about the quality as well as the positive basic attitude towards the environment.

4. For your first location you have chosen Munich. What made you choose Munich?

Munich is the northernmost city of Italy, a cosmopolitan city with a heart and a village of millions at the same time. We offer entrepreneurs and their employees a “start in feeling at home” in the first month of their search for a flat in the capital. We ourselves grew up in Munich both professionally and privately and could not imagine a better first location.

5. If guests ask you about the three most important sights in Munich, what would you recommend to them?

In our blog some beautiful sights and delicacies of Munich have already been presented. Especially we love the English Garden and its beer garden at the Chinese Tower, or the view from the old Peter over the whole city centre and the colourful Viktualienmarkt. For football fans a visit to the Allianz Arena is a must, and for princess enthusiasts a walk through the park of the Nymphenburger Schloss is a must. A little helper is our TIMEHOUSE mascot Schorschi, who accompanies us from the very beginning and diligently inquires about new sights in Munich.

The three most popular golf clubs in and around Munich

In and around Munich you can experience golf in a breathtaking setting. Munich is one of the regions with the most golf courses in Bavaria. Experience an unforgettable golf experience in one of Munich’s three most popular golf clubs.

Golf Club Riem

The course with 9 holes is located in the oval of the Riemer racecourse and offers an exciting golf experience with challenging water hazards and numerous “bunkers”. The golf club offers free play opportunities as well as courses for beginners and experts. You can tee off until late in the evening under the floodlit, two-storey driving range with 50 courses. The golf course can be reached by car within 15 minutes from the hotel.

Green Hill

In Munich’s highest golf club you will experience golf rounds with a fantastic alpine backdrop and a fascinating view of the city skyline. The course offers playable 9 holes, without waiting times and can be reached in only 20 minutes by car. Cheap taster courses invite beginners to try this popular sport.

Munich Golf Eschenried

You will experience unforgettable golf rounds in the former artists’ landscape of Munich’s Golf Eschenried. In addition to numerous natural biotopes, the 18-hole championship course offers a challenge for advanced golfers. Dive into the golf experience and relax between old trees in the natural surroundings. The golf course can be reached in the west of Munich in 25 minutes by car.

By the way, you don’t have to be a golf club member to play on the courses.

We wish you a lot of fun and success!
